Born Christopher Simmons in Fort Lauderdale, FL Gameface Get Em’s
interest with music grew at the age of 11. He began rapping in middle
school talent shows and in the middle of lectures in the classroom. Rapping
at lunch while people beat on garbage cans, rap battles at school and any
other music events he is always involved. Every chance he gets he is out
showing people his lyrical talents with his hard hitting punch lines,
energetic delivery and creativity he brings with every song. He feeds off
of the responses of the listeners and keeps getting better as time
progresses. He always says that you will never say that I sound the same as
the last time you heard me. Versatility is never a problem with Gameface
Get Em he can write all types of songs: feel good music, club bangers,
motivational tracks, songs that get you through your day when your stressed
out whatever your situation is Gameface has a song you can relate to.
Growing up my brothers used to tell me Chris get out of my room
I don’t wanna hear another one of your songs comeback when you have
something good. There has never been a day where I’m not writing music,
everyday I’m thinking of new rhyme schemes, concepts and ideas I can use
in my music. Now 8 years later my brothers are promoting and investing into
my rap career. Everyday they ride around with my music on deck in their
cars bragging to their friends about the songs I’ve made. Driving to
radio stations dropping off my CD’s and handing music to club owners and
record labels. The responses from everyone are always positive and it
won’t be long until I get the recognition I have been working for.
My motivation is my dad having cancer and telling me he wants me
to make something of myself in the music industry. All of my family members
that see the potential and desire I have knowing that I will one day be
successful. I’m not comfortable with being another guy in the crowd; I
want to be that guy the crowd came to see. My goal is not to be compared to
any other rapper but for rappers to be compared to me I want to begin my
own legacy not walk in the next mans footsteps. I don’t care how hard I
have to work to get what I want I’m going to get it whether hard or easy
I will be successful.
